THE MEDALS OF HONOUR FOR MERIT WAS HELD IN THE TOWN HALL OF BARCELONA
As every year, the handing out of the Medals of Honour for Merit was held on 29th September in the Town Hall of Barcelona. This medal is awarded to persons who have contributed in an outstanding manner through their relationship and collaboration with the Town Hall and the city.
The Mayor of Barcelona, Jordi Hereu, handed out this prize to several high-raking positions of the General Council of the Judicial Branch and to Ricard Fornesa (Chairman of La Caixa), among others. CESPA received the Silver Category Medal of Honour for Merit from the hands of Oliver Fernández Clavería, Head of the Road Cleaning Services. With this prize, the Guardia Urbana (police) and the Town Hall of Barcelona reward the close day by day collaboration of CESPA and that regarding great events occurring in the city.
With the joint collaboration of the Guardia Urbana and the CESPA Cleaning and Collection Services they manage to increase the efficiency and efficacy of their tasks, with priority always given to the safety of people, workers and citizens.
As a result, this prize is an acknowledgement of the work carried out by the entire team in Barcelona, its managers and workers.
