THE MANAGEMENT OF WASTE IN THE WORLD, AXIS OF THE CESPA EXHIBITION IN MURCIA

Three different but complementary points of view serve to reflect on and show the management of urban waste carried out worldwide. This is a process that varies enormously depending on where it occurs and the point of view with which it is observed.
Cespa, holding the concession for the road cleaning and waste collection and treatment service in Murcia, inaugurated the 'Bienvenido a la montaña de basura' ('Welcome to the rubbish mountain') exhibition coinciding with the World Recycling Day of 17th May, which may be visited up until next 3rd June.
This exhibition shows rubbish dumps from distant countries, where waste treatment can cause devastating images. The way in which waste is treated in the plant of Cañada Hermosa, Murcia, contrasts with this reality.
